TLC 2019 Speakers
Ken and Jinner have been in ministry for 42 years. They have served in the pastorate for ten years in the Washington, DC area; for thirteen years they worked at Clarks Summit University recruiting students for ministry; for ten years they served at Lake Ann Camp as the senior high camp speaker and director of advancement; and starting in 2009, they joined the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism and are part of the Mobilization Team.
The Mobilization Team at ABWE involves the Rudolphs in many ministries. Ken speaks in many Christian Schools in Europe and America and has been involved in leadership conferences for the Association of Christian Schools International. They also speak in many churches in Europe and America doing youth, evangelistic and marriage conferences. Ken is also involved in doing teen camps in America at Lake Ann Camp as well as camps in Germany, Romania, and Argentina. One of the main responsibilities that they have with mobilization is to recruit young people to missions. Their heart is to plant many churches in Europe and therefore must recruit many young people to do this great work.
The Rudolphs have four married children and 13 adorable grandchildren.
Mike Show has recently served as the Director of Student Life at Mekeel Christian Academy for the past four years. He is switching roles and will be working in the admissions department at Clarks Summit University. Before serving at Mekeel, Mike was the Director of Athletics and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Baptist Bible College. Mike is married to Valerie and they have six children.
Andy, with over 20 years of ministry experience, is a sought-after speaker in youth groups and churches throughout the United States. He has been a youth pastor, lead pastor, and an admissions representative at CSU. He holds advanced degrees in theology and philosophy and is currently a Ph.D. candidate. He teaches both philosophy and theology at the University of Scranton – and lives with his wife, Becky, and their children in downtown Scranton.
Dr. Wayne Slusser
Dr. Wayne Slusser was born and reared in Northeast Ohio. Upon receiving a degree in Landscape Architecture from the U. of Oklahoma (1991), he returned to Ohio to work in a landscape design firm. He met his wife, Melissa, and they were married in 1993. They have 2 children, Jack and Nick.
Wayne graduated with his M.Div. in 2001 and was asked to be on faculty at Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary, Springfield, MO. He taught New Testament and Greek courses for 14 years (2001-2015) and served as the Dean of the Seminary for 4 years (2011-2015).
While serving on the faculty at BBC & Theological Seminary, Wayne received his PhD in New Testament & Greek (2012) and was the co-pastor (2001-2015) of a team church plant in Ozark, MO.
Wayne is now the Dean of the Seminary and Professor of New Testament at Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit University. He is also now managing and authoring the blog found at ntresources.com/blog/ that was established by the late Dr. Rodney Decker. He is the head women’s soccer coach at CSU.
Dan Nichols is the founding church planter of Restored Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He and his best friend Joy have been married for 6 years, and they have a 4-year-old son named Landon. They are ABWE missionaries to North America where Dan does regional coaching, training, and speaking. Dan is currently finishing his D.Min. degree at Clarks Summit University where he is also an adjunct theology professor.
