REACHING “Z”—IMPACT THIS GENERATION FOR CHRIST
Fifty years ago, Clarks Summit University began to reach kids for Christ through the Teen Leadership Conference. In the summer of 1985, the idea of a network for youth workers was hatched by several youth workers who brought their youth groups to the TLC. As a result, the first National Youth Ministries Conference was held that January. Before many of us were alive, we met during a snowstorm in Toledo, Ohio. We laughed together, worshipped together, learned together, played together and fellowshipped together.
This year we want to bring this old spirit back to the NYMC. We even will be bringing back some experienced leaders who are still working to reach kids. Let’s get together with old friends and make some new friends in ministry on the campus of Clarks Summit University during TLC. Join us as we again will learn, laugh, and love on each other during the all-new National Youth Ministries Conference which will be held during this summer’s Teen Leadership Conference.
We will spend the week challenged and encouraged to reach Generation Z. Our seminar leaders are people who have put in the time and are using their experience to reach this generation. Leaders like Dan Istvanik, Jeff Beckley, Ken Rudolph, Chris Brown, Mel Walker, Tim Ahlgrim and others will talk with us about reaching Z kids. Join us as we grow and are challenged together.
